The poly community in NSW is focused on Sydney, but has members throughout the state. Regular socials and discussion groups happen in Sydney each month, and occasional gatherings occur in the north coast, the south coast, and around Canberra.
The Sydney Poly Social
Socials are an opportunity to meet other interesting people, hang out over a drink and a meal, and chat about life, the universe and everything. They're a great introduction for people interested in meeting other poly people.
When: 4pm-7.30pm, on the second Sunday of every month
Where: the Marlborough Hotel, corner of King St and MIssenden Rd, Newtown (UPSTAIRS and right around the back, out past the pool tables - on the outside deck if the weather is nice, or in the little room off the deck if it is too hot, cold, or wet to use the deck).
How to find us: we usually have a sign up on the wall above us that says "Poly Social"
The Sydney Poly Discussion Group
Discussion groups are quieter more structured events in which people can discuss questions, issues, and experiences of polyamory in greater depth, in a safe environment. It's a good introduction for poly-curious people. You're welcome to sit in the corner and just listen if you want.
When: 7.30pm-9.30pm, on the fourth Wednesday of every month
Where: private home, varies each month - Call/SMS Craig (0416 095 041) for this month's address.
Further information on these and other Poly events can be found on the calendar.
